Attorney general and Unite Here Local 54 say total ban would be ‘catastrophic’

The lawsuit to ban smoking on Atlantic City’s casino floors just took a hit from a formidable team. New Jersey Attorney General Matt Platkin and Unite Here Local 54, which is the main union representing casino workers, on Monday asked a judge to dismiss an anti-smoking lawsuit.
